Benjamin Ozumba, vice chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, says that the university will soon start producing laptops and tractors for commercial use.
Ozumba put forth this expression at the dispatch of the new science and innovation hatchery, first of its kind in West Africa, called "Thunder Nigeria Hub".
NAN reports that the dispatch is a blessing from heaven for the educator who had pledged to build up such subsequent to going by a science stop in Sweden in 2016.
"We need to turn Nigeria around with developments and advancements. Soon, you will find out about understudies of UNN making praiseworthy innovations in ICT and different fields of life," he said.
Ozumba ventured out his objective by commanding that each understudy of the college should possess a Portable workstation request to meet the requests of the 21st century tertiary instruction.
